Lay out your best outfits tonight, be sure to comb your hair in the morning, and brush those pearly whites real good, Tigers!

Kindergarten started their morning on Friday with a "Walk and Talk". Every morning, we rotate through the classes for a little social time around the playground. Mrs. Lloyd happened to capture the kindness being spread this particular beautiful morning. (Notice all the hand holding 🫶)

Parents, just so you are aware, the $3.00 for the movie ticket includes a small drink and popcorn for your student. Unfortunately, we will be on a time crunch, so please ensure your kiddo leaves their allowances at home. There will be no extra purchases allowed. Thank you! We will be getting back in time for your student to eat a sack lunch in their classrooms. No need to send lunches.
Students, teachers, and staff are all so excited for this field trip! We've never done anything like this before, so it will be an experience. Nonetheless, we thank you for allowing us to experience it with your littles. 🤖

Parents: The Homecoming Parade is coming up quickly! Just a few reminders for those veterans and announcements for those new to the Jeff West community.
The parade will travel east to west down Main Street starting at 6:30 P.M. This means that the drivers will be looking directly into the setting sun. Please be vigilant about keeping your children safe while grabbing some parade candy. It can be difficult for the drivers to see with the sun glare on their windshield. We understand the excitement is hard to contain, but the children's safety is our first priority.
Looking forward to celebrating with all our Tigers tomorrow!

The Kansas City Metro Challenger Football league wants you! It is an organized flag football league for boys and girls ages 5 and up who have special needs. They play in the fall and spring with open enrollment throughout the year. Players from all over the Kansas City Metro and other nearby areas are welcome and accommodations will be made for anyone who wants to play. There is no fee to play or equipment to buy. As long as the parents are willing to travel to the Heritage Park Football Complex, they will have a wonderful and safe place to play football.
Check out their website:
www.kcmetrochallenger.org to register online, see league details, game schedules, and find contact information. There is a DVD available that showcases the kids participating in the games. Check out the video on YouTube:
