Congratulations to Caleb Morse. Caleb placed 10th in the Holton Invitational on Monday. Caleb led the tigers to a 4rth place team finish overall. #HeedtheRoar

Congratulations to our JV golfers! They placed second in the Hiawatha JV Tournament on Monday. The Tigers were led by Talan Truhe with a 6th place finish and Alan Hawkins with an 8th place finish! TIGER ROAR!!

Fine Arts Night - take two. We are planning to host our Fine Arts Night this evening after needing to reschedule it due to the storms last night. Please come join us for some great music from our band, beautiful songs from our Choirs, and view all of the fine works of art from our artists. The program begins at 7 p.m. and will be held in the high school commons.

Mrs. Frakes and Mr. Stapp, Principals are often the unsung heroes of a good school environment. They set the tone and culture of a school, develop relationships with students, teachers, parents, and other staff members, and lead through good and bad times. Saturday was another great day for the Jefferson West High School Music Department! They competed at State Solo and Ensemble in Gypsum, KS. Our Lakeside Singers received all Outstanding (1) and Excellent (2) ratings! TIGER ROAR!!!! The FFA Greenhouse is OPEN!! We are open during school hours (8-11am and 12:30-3:30pm). We have both annual flowers and vegetable plants for sale. Please come and support our ag program and students that have had such a large impact in producing these plants for you.

From eSports Coach, Alan Dick… We have 6 players at the Middle School and 1 player at the High School who have advanced to the next round of tournament play for their respective games. Camden Pfeifer has advanced to the Semifinals in Chess. He is competing in the Gold bracket with other advanced competitors. Our remaining MarioKart Team (Ledger Brown, Abigail Downing, Caden Schuetz, Easton Haid, and Cade Arnold) will play Round 2 of their tournament tomorrow. Leroy Staniec (Freshman) had a stellar performance in his last match and advances to the Semifinals ranked #4 in the nation! Thank you to everyone who has taken a moment to congratulate and cheer them on in the community and at school. If you see them this week, please wish them good luck!
